Who are we?

We were founded in 2016 by a group of industry leaders and leading investors with the goal of creating a flexible cloud-based, API-driven prepaid issuer processor. In a world dominated by a few industry goliaths, all of which are playing catch up with their legacy technology, there are only a handful of companies who have created and successfully launched their own issuer processor in recent years. Our corporate headquarters was established in Denver, CO. In addition to being central to all of the US, Denver has an abundance of technology talent and fintech innovation. We also opened an office in London.

In late 2019, the team expanded and Brian Brinkley was brought on as CTO. Brian, who brought his experience as one of the creators of the Google Wallet, transformed QRails from just an issuer processor to a robust platform capable of delivering complex solutions built on top of the processor. There was a focus on mobile, movement of funds, and integrations with industry leaders.

In 2020, at the request of an industry-leading workforce management partner, we began building our first verticalized solution. The earned wage access solution allows a partner, integrator, or employer to offer a fully featured earned wage access product (or EWA) to their employees. The earned wage access solution can be launched using our AnyDay app and prepaid card or can be tightly integrated and woven into a partner’s existing mobile strategy using our APIs and SDKs.

In 2021, we successfully launched AnyDay, our earned wage access solution and have contracted and integrated with some of the largest partners in the US. We opened our 2nd US-based office in Kansas City to house a growing data services and engineering team.
